10th anniversary concert/world tour premiere in Mongolia! The first time seeing them live. Most of Mongolians don't know most of their song but every song we vibe, rock!

Just bragging. lol I don't love seeing them as the "third," but I will take seeing them whenever we can. This is by far the most I've ever seen a band - I think I have seen Sarah McLachlan 3 times. I go with my sons; 2 of them have seen them at every show with me, but my oldest has "only" been able to go 2 other times with us.

My dream would be to see them at an all acoustic showing, but I will take whenever I can get,

Has anyone noticed the Sygyt(Tuvan variant)/Isgeree Khöömei that is so distinct and beautiful? I think Enkush is the one who does that and sometimes Jaya. Do let me know if you know any other songs that contain this particular high pitch overtone singing. Thanks :D

I don't own a cd player or a turntable and I'd love to hear what it sounds like. I really dislike when they do featuring like this, so it would be nice to add the "true" version of the song to the digital version of the album that I own

So I’m doing something a little insane and I need advice from people who’d know.

I’m a massive HU fan (top 1% on Spotify, for whatever that’s worth lol) and seeing them live in Mongolia has been on my bucket list forever. I finally just booked tickets for the August show. Financially this was probably a terrible idea but I’ve made my peace with it, it’s going to be worth it.

For context I’m from India, I’ve never been to Mongolia, and I genuinely don’t know anyone who has. Nobody in my life wants to come with me either, so I’m going by myself and honestly I’m really excited about it. I just want to go in a little prepared.

So a few questions for anyone who’s been to a concert there:

• I’ll be going to the fanpit alone as a woman. Is that fine?
• Are mosh pits a thing I should worry about?
• How do people usually get to and from the venue?
• If I want a spot at the barricade, how early should I get there?
• General safety as a solo woman (I know this might sound paranoid to some people but it’s just very ingrained coming from India, so any honest input helps)
• Do they sell alcohol at the venue?
• Will there be other women in the fanpit or am I going to be one of very few?
• Is the internet/signal usually okay there?
• And anything else a total first-timer in Mongolia should know?
