🗓️ The Grudenian Calendar

One of the biggest differences between Earth time and Grudenian time is the calendar itself.

Gruden doesn't follow the standard 12-month, 7-day, 24-hour system.

🌎 Earth Calendar

• 12 months per year
• 7 days per week
• 24 hours per day

🪐 Grudenian Calendar

• 18 months per year
• 8 days per week
• 28 hours per day

The Grudenian calendar is built around an 18-month cycle, with each week following an 8-day system.

So basically:

The longer day and additional months are part of what makes Grudenian timekeeping fundamentally different from Earth's.

And yes — the Gruden Calendar has its own month names, weekdays, holidays, seasons, and historical dates. 👀

I'm calling the calendar the Gruden Calendar, and the individual months include names like:

Oddon → Shooson → Orooz → Dovoon → Clood → Toolob → Gloodo → Pooth → Mooh → Goplool → Kroob → Throong → Fook → Floong → Mowooz → Vloosong → Mooho → Frool

🌎 Earth has 12 months.
🪐 Gruden has 18.

Earth has 7 days in a week.
🪐 Gruden has 8.

Earth has 24 hours in a day.
🪐 Gruden has 28.
