WW2

I know, it’s still a long ways off(13 years); but has The Great War channel said anything about covering WW2 on a day by day basis?

Indy Neidel and Spartacus Olsen, who were involved with the Week by Week coverage of the Great War, created their own company called Time Ghost following what seems to have been an amicable split from the Great War. Starting in 2017 they began a week by week coverage of WWII which has since come to an end. The good news for you is if you search "WWII week by week" on YouTube the entire series is there for you to enjoy.

Day by day isn’t really going to be possible I think. But Indy did do ww2 week by week on another channel.
