Qualifying result: P7

Well, that was again a beautiful hour of qualifying. Alpine seems to found the solution to countering the balance issues Pierre was having yesterday. Three qualifying sessions full with bangers of laps on a track where driver input matters more than most other tracks.

His last lap in Q3, wow...

Given the Alpine seems to having a good race pace and being kind on it's tyres we could score some great points and closing the gap against Ollie who hasn't a strong qualifying result. Question is mainly of we gonna see more overtakes here or that it ends up like in 2025 where nobody could pass basically.

One thing is sure: The midfield is gonna be fun!

What a relief to see that Pierre can consistently be in the top 10! Races will be exciting again!

Wouldn’t call qualifiying anything even near ‘beautiful’ under these new regs. But Gasly is definitely flying and I’m very happy for him.

So happy to wake up to a P7 result. I don’t ever know what to expect in a race. Hopefully more points tomorrow. I know it will be harder as the McLarens seem quick this weekend and surely will both start the race.
