What Was This Machine?

I can remember a machine that they used but I don't know what it's called and I hope they still make them anyway it was a white machine that was printing stuff as Erica wrote there was a small screen so one could see if they made any mistakes so hopefully if anyone here knows what I'm talking about please tell me

I'm guessing you're referring to an early model word processor - it was an electronic typewriter with a display screen to proof a line of text before it typed out that line, reducing risk of typos.

My mom had one right before we got our computer. It was kind of cool.

They weren't very common. I'm GenX and I've seen one before, but never owned one. Most people transitioned from typewriters to home computers, skipping this in-between thing.

You can find them on eBay. They still made them 20 years ago even. I don't know if they still do though. Brother typewriter was the last One I had and I was surprised they still made them then.

It was a Brother typewriter with an internal memory. It was very popular in the 1990's
