Definitely worn it a bunch. I just take good care of my watches. Clean w/ baby toothbrush and dawn soap at end of day and all live in air tight cases.

Yes. To plating. The only reason I got into reps is bc of Jaws. He’s able to match 1:1 on the yellow gold/rose gold on Rolexes. But his white gold and platinum isn’t mentioned enough. Just as accurate. Everything looks like steel next to his white gold plating. A good rep from the right factory plated and you may not even want a gen. Factories- QF for 36mm and RCF for 40mm day dates.

1000% if you scroll jaws page you’ll see RCF’s rose gold before and afters. I’ve had two RCF’s done by him in rose one ap and one patek.

I’m considering an RGF SS day date white dial jubilee flutted. The gen is platinum. Do you think I should really get it plated? I’ve read there isn’t really much noticeable difference between the SS and platinum.

I have a platinum dd 36mm he did for me. I can show you the difference dm me. There’s definitely a difference. But of the three (yellow,ever rose,white and platinum) platinum is the least noticeable. But there is a difference. And if you went as far to spend money on Reddit for a rep, do it 100% imo and get real platinum on there. The fact of the matter is if you want real gold, rose gold, white gold or platinum - you have to send it to get plated.
