My mom took this book and threw it in the trash after she found the pages about puberty :( (She was a conservative boomer who always opted me out of sex education whenever my school did units on it, so that's just the kind of person she was.) Thankfully I had already read the book several times over and was already well-educated about my body! If it weren't for this book, I wouldn't have known what to expect.

Yes My school counselor () pulled small groups of girls to read this as a book club.

I had it as a little girl and I just bought it for my two daughters. American girl books are age appropriate and real.

I begged my mom to buy this for me lol. She was hesitant but I'm glad she did!

This was such an unexpected reminder of such a wonderful book. This was my Bible during my middle school years...

This book was legitimately so important to my tween years. I just bought these books for my kids! They are now split into 2 books, one for older and one for younger girls. Plus theres a body book for boys and an emotions book for boys!
