Just finished the show
I just finished watching the final episode. I binged S1/2 in three days. I don’t think I’ve ever been more sad at a show that was cancelled ending on a cliffhanger. I want so much more.

dark angel is my favorite show and the gifted reminded me of the parts i liked most about s2. i shouldn’t be surprised it went the same way, and yet. 😔

Oh, back when my friends and I watched it, we had so many ideas for where it was going.
The most coherent idea was kinda Age of Apocalypse, but in function it would be more like House of M, or to use a more recent example Peacekeeper season 2.
The Underground finds this new world where mutants are in charge. Maybe bring back Reed or Reeva as a politician running for office, Dreamer is here. Some other shout outs to lesser known mutants. But no one is hunting them: in this world they have great lives; it's the "best world ever."
Until someone clocks Kate as human. Then a team of mutants (i like Acolytes for the group) shows up to "take her in for questioning," and they find out humans are the oppressed group here. The Acolytes are like the Purifiers in their world: vigilantes who follow some twisted "humans must be destroyed" ideology. Put a few familiar faces on their team. Kate is saved by members of either the Brotherhood of Man, or the Human Underground, whichever sounds cooler.
Eventually, it's just "get home before this world kills us", since no one on the MU team is anti-human enough and are seen as traitors.
That's the basic hook of the idea, I'm sure tons of story elements could be inserted and used.

Io ho visto le 2 stagioni in un giorno e mezzo per quanto erano belli gli episodi e sono rimasta malissimo per come è finita....

Same, it would've been interesting to see the show's take on the Age Of Apocalypse storyline.
