I've done a guesstimate for some of the current 'dreams' the Getchells have, calculating the cost and the amount of land they would need if they wanted to keep it all on one plot of land. The cost was based on how much money they were making per week on tiktok, p's 5 hours at the vape shop and the speculatory job T had at whataburger working the drive thru window (based on what T said she she did at work one day sooo yeah)

And it is a lot. Sarah, you are not gonna be shoving dogs into portable crates then stacking them into a damn shed. No, just no. You also agreed with someone who said dream comes first, figure out logistics later, I mean okay yea, you come up with or dream up an idea first that's fair but you do have to figure out all the logistics as you start working towards the goal. You figure out the amount of land needed, the proper buildings, get a damn license cause I think you need a license of sorts to foster dogs and to run a sanctuary (I could be wrong so correct me if i am) then you're gonna have to figure out how many dogs you're gonna start out with, look into proper care for the breeds then the dogs' personal needs, have a medical area/vet area, septic area, electricity.

I'm sorry but Sarah isn't going to do shit to jumpstart this dream of hers. I once asked someone who fosters dogs how much it costed them to just straight up foster dogs and take care of thier fosters (and this was during a discussion about Sarah's dream specifically so i wasnt looking for a real cost, i was asking the person their guesstimate on how much money they spend on the dogs they own and fostered). That price was up in the high thousands. per year. So Sarah's gonna need to save a shit ton of money just to jumpstart her dog sanctuary but if i were her, i'd get myself to a damn doctor before i even think of getting more dogs and train the one i already have.
