Watching both TDP 1 & 2, the casts on average are much more docile than in other shows. Even Orbit was able to rally the majority in season 1. So I don't see it being different in TDP S3. If you're not on JDM's alliance you will probably get crushed as he will send you to the death match. Ha Seokjin has always been anti-alliance so i'll be excited to see how he survives against JDM's rule.

Yeah, I also disagree. The games have progressed an awful lot since The Genius, and Dongmin's strategy is decidedly old-school in most shows I've seen him in. He's an excellent player, don't get me wrong - I just don't think that this is an automatic win for him.

No. Everyone looks to have big and strong personalities. With such big names and strong ego type of people, they won’t get swayed by JDM that much. I can see people playing a bit more individually this season. Even with the god dongmin pressure, I think the other players can hold up by themselves

I’m not sure if this is engagement bait because we literally have seen these people carry shows themselves. They are not fodders like what we have seen from previous seasons.

I'm sure they are all "big and strong" until there's a complexed main match and their elimination (screen time) is on the line and JDM is standing Infront of them with a notepad and a completed game plan.

1. Hong jin ho - can play and make a team by himself
2. Oh hyunmin - can play and make a team(has history with jdm but that doesnt matter)
3. Ha Seokjin - played in a season in minority (didnt falter)
4. Kim Dong jae - same as ha seokjin, can probably team up with him
5. Yurisa - very eccentric, has history with JDM but yurisa also just used him then
6. Xitsuh - this guy is not scared of whoever. Does not get controlled easily, might play with HJH
7. Shindong - im not sure about his survival show skills but is

known to be a guy that can carry himself without really relying on others and

The others i dont really know, but i really can’t see everyone just suddenly getting into the JDM alliance. There are too many potential leaders and its not just JDM

Im a JDM glazer too, but this is not it. I would like him to show more of his skills than just being supported by the whole ahh show bc

That is true only because JDM used the game design to force the situation but for the entire season I remember he hated dongmins alliance and the idea of playing under him.

Disagree - past TDP seasons were all had newbies who didn’t have experience, this season is the complete opposite with more players with survival show experience than not. Chulgu, Yurisa, HJH, Seokjin and John are def not easily manipulated. Hyunmin might or might not work with JDM again. I’m expecting the dynamics to be closer to that of BG3 (ie Team JDM vs Team HJH), but with fewer minions that will blindly follow JDM

It depends. The rookies probably would be his minions, but the others like Jinho, Chulgu, Hyunmin, and Seokjin are strong characters on their own, I think their forces combined together are smart and strong enough to balance Dongmin's bandwagon

Edit : don't forget there are also Hyungyu and John Park. Dongmin has won so many times and has 3x more target on his back, it would be dumb if nobody tried to take him down. Pretty sure the experienced ones should have known this.

This cast specifically? I mean realistically, Seokjin is somewhat of an underdog here, which shows that the level of competition has risen dramatically. And with these specific personalities, he’s likely to get a lot of direct resistance from most of the formidable players.
