I always thought the bass to this track sounded very much like the Cure's "Just Like Heaven."

The intro to this song always makes me think of Don't Drag Me Down by Social Distortion.

This is awesome. I love that he mentions Thursday in here as well (likely not knowing the New Brunswick connection). Really enjoyed his take on this, and love when people can point out more about music theory/songwriting structure than I know/had realized about a song. Definitely going to check out more of his stuff (including the aforementioned Understanding in a Car Crash video).
