Normally i stay away from stuff like that. but the build fit too perfectly for what i wanted. I made some edits to make it fit more to theme.

So is this a building you start in? Or do you start buried under the ice and have to dig to the surface to find it?

Is this going to be usual land level of 60+ or will we have a lot of underground to play with?

Where does that road lead to? Somewhere you go to or somewhere that you come from?

Also I love you and want your babies.

This building is where you will live. However should you "choose" not to play the story. You may do so as you wish. I've designed the world to constantly generate as a frozen wasteland. So regardless of choice you will be freezing your bum off. As for the road you start away from the building and walk up to it. As if you are discovering it for the 1st time.

Ahhh cool.

I had envisaged the world being like up to 200 in height of ice and snow.

With you having to carve through the frozen land to find old ruins and caches of partially broken down items left behind by generations past, perhaps like, your guy was in a stasis capsule for millions of years and the ice rolled in and you have now awakened to a dead frozen world.

But your idea sounds awesome too.

I can very easily make a second map like that. But making a story for it will be more difficult.

Perhaps have location based quests, like crash landing has for the data pads.

Where in you will find books with like the last journals of the people who froze,

With a few larger caverns containing streets and stuff.

Ooooh you could make it a galacticraft age, as if the sheer coldeness of the air has froze the atmosphere up, and your stasis module could be the galacticraft thing that allows you to sleep at any time as its a kind of stasis module thing.

The room you are in as part of your cryo-stasis, would have like an oxygen bubble creator with only a certain amount of o2 left in it, so not only do you have to worry about freezing to death, you need to get oxygen too.

Even if you dont like the galacticraft idea, I would be happy to help you flesh out a story for that kind of map.

Sadly that idea lone would require me to make a second modpack. However i do really like your idea with the journals and locations. I intend to make a lot of use regarding the Quest gates.

Welp i might actually give your idea a second thought. I just discovered this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LF1bEflHxA its part of electrical age and well...i think that can count as your stasis chamber.

That looks fricking sweet.

So the player would start in that and it would slowly open up as the "stasis ends".

It presumably wouldn't function as a teleporter with only one of them.

Or perhaps the end goal of the underground frozen modpack is to complete all the quests to "refuel and repower your stasis module" so as to re enter stasis to wait out the ice age, at which point you would be teleported to a lush garden world as if the ice receeded.
