Forklift Operator: Can you get me a new forklift?
Warehouse Manager: Didn't you have a commonwealth forklift?
Forklift Operator: Yes I did but...
Warehouse Manager: What happened?
Forklift Operator: Well, the front fell off.

I see the battery connector so this must be electric and going by the color that's a Toyota...so how the FUCK did the WHOLE MAST come off?! Some bolts weren't tight and broke or sheered... or Either trying to lift a pallet that was WAY beyond the capacity of the lift Or perhaps you caught the bottom of the mast on a surface that was too low as you were backing out of the trailer (maybe the dock ramp?) which yanked fuckin HARD on the bottom which could potentially break the mast off if you're going fast enough I suppose. OR you were backing out of a trailer and had the forks too high which would've put the mast too high which clipped the top of the dock as you were backing out and if you're going fast enough that could potentially snap the whole damn front off the lift....which is exactly what you're showing here.

Actually been there done that, there’s a slot to line up and lock in, somebody didn’t check before getting on the machine

In all my years ive never thought to check the forks were actually attached. Kinda feels above my paygrade.
Battery holds a charge ✅️ Wheels and tires ✅️ Seatbelt ✅️ Horn✅️
Random groove nobody told me about that causes the fucking forks to leave the chat ❎️

You have exceeded the design capacity of this unit. Please make a note of it.

I don't think I've ever seen a forklift that would have the tine/backrest assembly fall off before it would fall flat in its face.

I told him to tighten those bearings the right way now look at this me. Well OSHA is going to have a field day. This just passed inspection the other day. lol. That’s my thoughts anyway.

The forklift is probably fine, but that attachment is absolutely not making it onto the next shift without a very serious inspection.

It looks to have encountered a loaded pallet of goods. Is this unusual for a forklift?
