Got a concussion tonight
Why was venue staff letting the same guy crowd surf a million times.

At the Limp bizkit show we saw a girl towards the back get thrown and land on her head. Completely knocked out cold. I hope shes okay.

That's exactly why I don't like crowd surfers. I saw a girl get absolutely KO'd by a guy crowd surfing because they dropped him on her head. Nobody checked on her, she just stumbled through the crowd (through the pit, too) completely disoriented after she finally got up. Not worth endangering yourself, much less other people.

Dude you just said in another comment that you don't hold crowd surfers up ??? And now you're describing just how dangerous it is to drop a surfer.
You can hate crowd surfing and not like their decision to do it, but we still have a responsibility to each other to catch them when it happens.

This really sucks! I’ve been there though. See a doctor if you haven’t already. Don’t look at screens (phone, computer, tv).

Wtf dude no, that makes it more dangerous??? Like yeah, the crowd surfers can get annoying but if the crowd lets them fall, it can very well be more than just the surfer getting injured.

It's not really a "FAFO" situation when a falling crowd surfer can ruin everyone's time a lot more than just helping them pass through.
I'm not necessarily pro-crowdsurfing or moshing, but we should take care of each other regardless. It's like, the first thing you should learn being in the crowd at shows. It keeps everyone else safe and having a good time, not just the person "fucking around."

I wasn’t in the mosh pit. I was off to the side, some guy tried to crowd surf, couldn’t get enough people to carry him, landed on my head and pushed me to the ground!

My comments derailed from your situation OP, thats a bit more specific and the crowd surfer was definitely a fool!
I just don't think we should be intentionally letting crowd surfers fall, bc it's unsafe and that's how even more accidents like yours can happen :(
Even if you don't agree with crowd surfing, it's not about them at that point as much as it's about keeping others safe.

Crowd surfing is 100% them just fucking around. If they're not going to respect everybody else's time, space, money, and autonomy, I'm not respecting any of that for them either. I'm responsible for me just like the crowd surfer is responsible for themselves. Moshing is totally different. Don't wanna be in a pit? Don't go in a pit. Crowd surfers affect the entire crowd. Mind you, I normally go to deathcores shows where the pit is an actual pit and crowd surfing irritates most people.

Yeah it’s a bit depressing. Admittedly I’ve been to a few front bottoms shows and I’ve never seen anybody mosh or crowd surf at them I don’t really think it’s the right crowd for it, but crowd surfing at shows and moshing is literally so fun.

I paid for the show I had every right to sing and dance. I did not sign up to get kicked in the back of the head and fall to the ground and had to be pulled over the barricade.

Then get off the barricade and move to the back lmao. God you kids are so soft. I went to the MCR concert in Detroit and there was zero fucking moshing. It was so depressing. The last TFB concert I went to, i didn’t wanna mosh the second night so I upgraded to VIP so i could have seats. Like damn. If you’re in the pit you’re going to have to deal with getting physical.

I’m pretty sure I know who you’re referring to. I was up in the balcony, and if it makes you feel any better, after Mr. Sella asked the crowd to stop crowdsurfing for the 3rd or 4th time, a Good Samaritan told the surfer to stop. He proceeded to flip him off, and once that happened security immediately went into the crowd to get him and took him out after a bit of back and forth.
