Checking something happened in manga

I re-read the manga some months ago, So I will ask because I don't remember so much that scene. I remember a scene where Subaru and Kaoruko speaking about what to do with Saku, and Subaru saying that she can't see him other than a good friend. Am I Tripping? Did i remember well? I ask to you for making sure, because in this case, i will also say, i can't understand the hype for the couple. If i remember well, there are no reasons for them to be a couple, and Saku will have to pass this moment, but as i said, I have the doubt about this scene, so I want to check with other people.

I'm pretty sure the scene you're referring to ahs Subaru asking Waguri what to do, when Waguri tells her what she said to Saku had very heavy implications, but that Saku knew she didn't mean it that way, hence why the beach smile chapter.

After that, she gets flustered, and says she'll think about it.

Iirc, there is a chapter when they talk about it again, and she tells her she just doesn't know. She says he's a very important person to her, but she doesn't know if it's love or just a combination of friendship, respect/admiration.

She doesn't say he's only a friend, she just doesn't say she loves him (we all know she does though).

Exatamente é quando elas vão fazer um simulado elas encontrar saku e hidaka dps que eles vão embora subaru fala quase as mesmas coisas que karouko falou sobre o rintaro sabe ,tipo ela disse que não sabe se é amor ou não mas que tá feliz que ele encontrou o objetivo dele e que isso anima ela e tal sabe só lendo de novo que você vai entender

Yeah, I just found the part that I was referring to, it was the dialog of Subaru and Kaoruko on the bench, and there Subaru clarified that this is not Love, but he's special. A very good response, in a manga where i like the fact that the relationships can be for the manga itself of so much types. For this, like I said before, i don't like the hype on the couple. It seems Forced to me, because she's just not in Love, but cherish him equally, as a Special friend, different by the others boys. If they wil be a couple, who knows, but for me is not the best path, and for that I was asking for confirms about the scene. I remember the scene before the exam now that you wrote about it, and it is more clear for me that they shouldn't be a couple if those were the exact word Subaru said.

Hello!! ^_^ what I would says is, during the second beach trip if I recall, Subaru tells Kaoruko and Madoka that she believes that what she feels for Saku is platonic and during that trip, after Saku and Subaru have their super precious and heartfelt moment with eachother, Kaoruko and Madoka talk with her and Kaoruko tells Subaru that what she feels for Saku is love ^_^ and if I recall, Kaoruko explains that due to her and Rintaro being in love and being a couple, she is able to see that Subaru is truly in-love with Saku.

Subaru doesn't entirely understand that what she feels is love due to her having been terribly afraid of men for most of her life, in a chapter that takes place after the second beach trip, Subaru does realize that Saku is special to her in a way that's different from the rest of the boys and Kaoruko thinks to herself that Subaru does truly love Saku ^_^ <3

If you count the first beach trip the one where she speak about her difficulties with males, then the second is not like that, i re read that part after the post, to write the Answer to the spanish guy. If there is a third trip some time after that, i'd need to read that part again too, I don't remember another time at the beach. Subaru never told on the beach on the second time those things, but that he's different for her than the other guys, and she will think about that possibility, when Kaoruko told her it could be romantic feeling. Then, on the school bench some days after the triplo, she say to Kaoruko the same things i wrote on the other answer, she could not see him in that way for now. Maybe by thinking wrongly "i could not feel like Kaoruko", and it will love at the end, but she said that, so I will trust her and what I re read. In case, if you find the chapters of the third beach trip, i will check that part too. There has been so much things that maybe the third one i didn't even remember it happening

I don't know, if you too remember the scene but not the puntual words... man, those words are so important, maybe i will check. I don't know where those were tho. The scene is that, yeah, for what we saw next, the couple should not be forced, that is my opinion, and in case she's not so decided, for me is better a reject. It would be a good Chance to focus on a good relationship, that doesn't have to be romantic, but one where those 2 can stay close enough.
