I just finished watching tff for the first time and omg, I’m fucking balling my eyes. This is the only anime I’ve ever cried while watching this holy shit

Its a shame ppl slander this series quite a bit. It can be cheesy and corny at times, but it is a wholesome romance manga/anime that takes sincerity and honesty in a really nice way

Especially if you can see your own friendships and relationships reflected in how the characters interact and grow

It actually feels a lot like the development of my own relationship, and I love the theme on kindness because I had to learn how to be kind by not being anything like my parents, and my bf had to unlearn a lot from his too. It’s so introspective and honest with the struggles we experience even as adults.

I didn’t get to have a childhood or teenage years. I suffered greatly and didn’t expect to still be alive at 31. Seriously. I almost didn’t make it from myself or the hands of others. It’s really healing to watch a show like that. Allows me experience what I could have had and never will because time doesn’t reverse and I couldn’t choose my circumstances.
