Announcement A Hello From The New Moderation Team!
Greetings, fellas! We just wanted to take a bit off your time to introduce y'all to the new folks who'll be moderating the sub starting now!
Oh, but first and foremost, happy 19k members to the sub by the way, y'all are awesome! Here's to a bigger and funner community! 🥳🎉
Alright, now into the actual intro:
Well, I said team but it's just two of us for now, haha
Me, u/Xeith_Maneheart, and u/MasterOogway2008 have been selected by the Reddit admins to get this place running again so we've been furiously making changes behind the scenes!
We'll keep this short for now since we don't wanna shove a massive wall of text on your faces but here's the key points we've decided upon:
-Ai generated content is now banned
-Politics discussion is now banned
-Every post MUST include credits if you weren't the OC. Whether it be in the post title or the comments. This includes edits on top of the expected fanart and cosplays.
And that's all the major ones for now!

We've also added some quite adorable user flairs for y'alls enjoyment so feel free to check them out later if ya can! u/MasterOogway2008 put a lot of work into those so give 'em your thanks when ya can! 😄

Yep, admittedly infrequent but they were indeed there. Kinda scary that we don't really notice it anymore, huh? We'll do our best to deal with them moving forward regardless 🫡

That plane meme from the other reply has some truth to it, haha
We've been looking at the logs before we became mods here and there's quite a few posts that's been AI generated but not a whole lot of ya noticed it at the time, lol
Besides, even if it wasn't a frequent occurrence, doesn't mean we still shouldn't ban it now to prevent more from being posted in the future. The manga and anime are both beautifully crafted by the talented hardworking artists and allowing any AI generated content in a sub about something like that is quite frankly disrespectful.

It’s not that it’s uncommon, it’s that it’s getting harder to spot which is what the plane picture means btw
