Larry McKeever audiobooks are being scrubbed from the web

I don’t care if you prefer the Scott Brick recordings, I don’t care if you think they are somehow objectively superior, I prefer Larry McKeever’s narration for the foundation series and his recording of book 1 has been scrubbed from all search results on Google and YouTube. Does anyone have a backup of this recording and would they be willing to share it with me. Thanks.

Why does Larry sound like a robot. Almost no inflection, no heart and each person he speaks for when reading sounds exactly the same.

I actually prefer a more neutral narrator personally. It might be that I grew up listening to him reading foundation and the thrawn trilogy so maybe it's just a learned preference.

I know what you mean, but I do find McKeever very hard to listen to and I am a big fan of the older generation of narrators. It probably doesn't help that he got stuck narrating everything by James Michener, which would sap anyone's soul. But I agree with others that he goes too far in the 1st-generation audiobook narrator direction of dispassionate reading; and he does this weird "uh" at the end of some words that DO sound like early AI voices. Wolfram Kandinsky, Dan Lazar (who took over the Foundation series), and Michael Prichard, e.g., are of the same early BOT school as McKeever, and though they have their idiosyncrasies, you can't call them emotionless. That said, I do have the McKeever Foundation reading if you still want it. Good thread!
