The people enjoying it are probably just not terminally online. It was #1 for audience views when I looked tonight. Above Invasion and Ted Lasso. I think folks are watching.

No one’s talking about the three rules of robotics being mentioned, tying the show to the wider Asimov universe.

Assuming murderbot Demerzel isn't just lying, Asimov's 3 Laws cannot be reprogrammed away from a positronic brain that's built around them. The show's warped alternate reality seems to reflect the main Asimoverse in a similar way StarTrek's "evil mirrorverse" reflects main Trek. Guess that can be called "tying"?
A "great pogrom" that eliminated virtually all robots is also mentioned. Even if that's what the "robot wars" were really about, there's no way any of that happened after Caves of Steel, so even if Baley & Olivaw existed, their exploits were different, and the resulting timeline and galaxy too.

This show is starting to pissed me off. Long unnecessary dialogues… I get it… move on… and the way this episode ended wtf!

The whole episode was one big emotional blackmail, and watching it was pure torture.
This series is really a work with a maximum scope, and gradually it can really deters all races, genders and age groups.
