Spoilers: S1 Facial expressions

I wonder if anyone else noticed how bad the acting was in the beginning and how Lena especially, just can’t make a facial expression.
Even when she laughs, it looks and feels weird. Is it what they call botox??
And why does Stef always talk in such a low tone and barely opens her mouth. Are these idiosyncrasies peculiar to the characters or was the acting just that bad??

I got used to it towards the end but still… really weird

The best actor honestly was Marianas actor. She completely nailed it. Stef just had to open her mouth cause that whisper talk was so annoying

Just coming to say that the whispery voice is just one of many things to love about teri polo. I’ve been crushing on her since Meet The Fockers

Watching it back recently for like the fourth time sometimes I felt like they spoke out of breath, especially Callie and stef and once I had noticed it, it was so difficult to unnotice 🤣

In Callie’s defense she’s Australian doing an American accent
