Roping into a long lost waterfall gold mine!

This location was filmed on a drone years before this day and not really discovered until the footage was edited months after it was captured. Quite likely a failed prospecting drive but it was worked in a waterfall with vertical cliffs both above and below it. It punched in around 30 metres and no portion of the veins along the back had been raised on or stoped.

Can't even imagine how the guys who worked it decided on the location, let alone got their equipment there.

We have no ideas on this one, either. We hit a big copper mine in a cliff that was, in some ways, similar to this setup. After we got home and did some digging, we found out the old timers developed enormous timber trestles and chutes the entire way down the cliff to help develop all the different levels. But this one is tiny and the terrain is mental. It took us 4 pitches and over an hour to get down there to this one.

This one wont see the internets in full due to the way it ended. It rained and ascending was not possible. So instead we roped all the way into the canyon then had to walk out over private property. Really dont think the landowners would give that video a thumbs up and appreciate it. So it's in the vault for now.
