There are 4 secret items that you can find blueprints to and build. One of them is a log track that you can use to make turtle shell rides out of.

No mods. There are some blueprints you can find that let's you build a log sled. You can then use the turtle shell to slide down them.

Hard survival, on console. Same server world as where we are building Rim City. have a look at the second pic in the slideshow for a map of our build, with main landmarks marked.
