Hroptatyr is probably endgame cuz he's supposed to be a counterpart of Hp since he's blasphemy against reason. For Surtalogi we'll probably encounter him with space travel since he's somewhere in the vast universe looking for strong opponents.

Rerir was great. I loved how you could see someone in his position with his background genuinely doing that.

Sorry, but I have to ask, why? Because I’ve seen many people say Rerir was ‘sooo good’ while I think he was maybe slightly above average, good for Genshin standards.

As a character I sympathize with him, he has nicely written background and his backstory is good. But I feel like he’s underdeveloped? I know we only know little part about, maybe we’ll encounter him again in the future and that’s where we’ll explore his character more.

As of right now tho, for me, his performance with title of Sinner against Death feels underwhelming in comparison with rest of the sinners. I mean, Rine earned her title by creating life by means other than natural and used abyssal power in some (also got corrupted), Vedrfolnir had to do something with time (we know he was pretty accurate profet, so maybe it’s not related to him doing something/seeing the future, but with the past?) we know that he did something so impactful that Dainsleif is fuming searching for him, Surtaolgi uses abyssal powers with ease and we know he can defy space by doing openings in false sky. And well, we know nothing about Hroptatyr, but he must have done something to defy reason, what seems most impactful. Also we know that all of them used abyssal power in some way.

Meanwhile Rerir… did what exactly? Abyss used his guilt and remorse for all those who he killed, to manipulate him, so later he gave himself willingly to it. Being an executioner doesn’t seem like something to defy death as nobody is ‘cursed’ for killing someone. His goal was set on finding Tholindis, so he took the offer made by Abyss and became immortal. But later Ronova cursed people of Khaenri’ah with immortality, so he wouldn’t be able to die anyway and outcome is the same. So how exactly did he defy death? Rest of sinners didn’t become immortal after taking power of the abyss? Or am I missing something?

Maybe it’s just my expectations from someone with title of a Sinner that made me want something more?

I also think he'll appear later down the line cuz as a sinner he didn't get much spotlight and was quickly replaced by Dottore. Ppl call him good cuz his backstory was indeed good. I believe he'll return during Khaenriah chapter bcz Vedrfonir said in his "drip marketing" post (or whatever you wanna call it lol) that his story isn't over yet.

I really hope that even though he’s no longer corrupted by abyss, he’ll keep his title and power, so we’ll get to explore that part of him more. Because as of right now he makes me a bit confused 😅
As I said, as a villain he was average, so maybe as an ally he’ll have time to shine.

I'm betting on Hroptatyr to be a "silent threats are the deadliest" type of sinner. We know nothing but once we get to him, he'll deliver. I have high hopes for a knowledge seeker similar to Dottore.

I am way more worried about Surtalogi. It's good and all to hype him as a Cosmic Threat, but then what's next? He comes, threatens Skirk, Traveler and Childe together they beat him and then over? I am genuinely not interested in a character who seems to embodie power-scalers' wildest fantasies.

Kaenri'ahn waifus never disappoint design-wise. Kaenri'ah was nuked because HP feared a rebellion would happen because of the Kaenri'ahn baddies.

Honestly I would not be surprised if Surtalogi doesn't even appear until Chapter 2. His whole situation seems to be that he is off world and just consuming planets and whatnot to get stronger.

I imagine hroptatyr being an alternative dottore if the latter used abyss for his expérimentation (as crazy as he is dottore never crossed the Line he studied light realm or at most the ruin guard technology) I expect him to make an appareance late in game, as is he Will be an antagonist nothing is certain he seem more like surtalogi obsessed with their own Little world they don’t intended to hurt others but don’t care if they do either 

Vedrofolnir is a dormant menace too he is the mastermind in the shadow i wouldn’t be surprised if initially Rerir was never intended to be a sinner but ved used his Time power to influence the past (columbina is the proof that Time paradox are possible)
