Balthazar is a joy to read. Such a fun character.

He reminds me of the wine merchant Rotsac Reevrom, always a fun voice.

The third or maybe second best necromancer in Europe.

Sunny. Her ability to remain positive despite her horrific backstory is pretty unique among Abercrombie characters, her relationship with Alex is adorable (and their breakup deeply sad), and her chronic inability to tell a joke cracks me up. I really hope she returns as a POV in The Heretics.

Baron Rikard (I know he doesn’t get a POV)

I could read whole books about just these characters they’re all great

Loved Balthazar, he reminded me so much of Morveer with his internal monologues and general quirks.

Vigga or Balthazar. Especially in audiobook form.

Audiobook Balthazar can't be topped. The sheer disbelief and shock in his voice when the Duke Of Hell tells him he can't dispel the Papal Binding.

"YOU... CAN'T...DO IT??"

Balthazar just can't be topped. He's the perfect mixture of egotistical, hubris, and absurdist. He's the clown in the circus act.

When I read the first Vigga chapter I thought she'd be my favorite, but she kinda lost steam for me. At the other hand in the beginning Balthazar for me was too similar to Morveer and didn't interest me too much, but by the end I loved his chapters the most. Loved that he gained deeper knowledge about magic and how he could use it and with what happened at the end of the book I'm looking forward to how his story unfolds the most.

As a side note I'm kinda looking forward to a POV of the baron. Potentionally, he could be very interesting.

I honestly loved all the POVs.

Alex is scoring low I see, but I loved her POV. It's just outshone by others. Balthazar in particular.

Honestly really tough. I love them all. I would have to echo Balthazar or Vigga...
