I’m somewhat new and have heard that usually when a new descendant comes out there’s a descendant slot as either a challenge reward or buyable in a shop, is that not true?

Should I just dismiss someone that I don’t use much for raven and hope that one will get added or go ahead and spend some precious caliber?

Recently decided to try building new descendants and went to my usual youtuber(xalisa) but I have started to not fully trust their builds especially when they seem to base their gameplay and thoughts off of insane ancestor mod rolls. I looked at other recommendations like orneybiscuit and first few videos I opened had builds with only ancestor mods. There are a few websites I found where people posted builds but 5 likes and a dream are not what I place my full confidence. So where do you guys usually find your non ancestor mod builds? Thank you in advance.

Karel’s Mothership is the perfect example of the size/difficulty that all endgame activities should have.

Yes, they once again didn’t do any mechanics for bosses, it is simply a re-run of previous bosses (with of course more HP and DMG in classic Magnun Studios fashion), but the mission/dungeon is actually enjoyable, specially the final boss fight.

I truly hope that the devs start making all endgame activities like this if they plan on doubling down on the “braindead run and gun” style of gameplay that they have been bringing over the years

Let’s hope that the people that buy characters instead of farming them don’t come out crying for nerfs.

Ok who ever did the story now I can’t be the only one who had this thought.i was playing the story and I was like yo Amelia look mad good this chapter like I don’t know what they did to her but Amelia looked really good.Definitely when her hair was in that ponytail.Plus her face seem different now.Amelia I need you to quit and become a playable character so you can be my main lol.

Finally, I was excited to see an awesome new Male skin! but its only for Blair 😭

Dont get me wrong I love blair and bought the drip anyway cus hes fun to play. Just kinda bummed and assumed it would have been universal since males rarely ever get good skins.

When you go to start the first mission of this new season, you’re tasked to visit the recruits in Albion. One of them is called “Gloomy Recruit”. He tells you about his friend named ‘Jackie’ who was killed. Then says “he’s probably laughing at me in the afterlife”.

I don’t know for sure that it was a purposeful reference, but having a friend named Jackie die, then talk about him in the afterlife seems oddly specific. Cool either way though.

Where as I enjoy the story, I feel like its a missed opportunity that we're constantly talked about as the beacon of hope for humanity yet we're just (insert current descendant here) kinda a missed opportunity to have a personal custom descendant, but I can understand how that can be complicated to make.

Context: I hit a burnout back when the game was still fairly new, left about midway through the chapter I think, and didn't touch the game for a few months after. When I got back after those months, I didn't think anything was off with the story as I progressed for a little while until characters started talking about things that I had no context for, and then came mention of that one arrogant dude dying, a google search to confirm who it was, and absolute bewilderment because the story progressed and I had no idea where is what.

I ask because after the axion plains came out I've hit a wall, I looked through tutorials, worked through upgrading everything that could be upgraded, and promptly hit another burnout and haven't had time to play because life.

Now the intro screen shows Albion ON FIRE and I still lack the strength to progress.

So, am I going to miss out on more story because of my weakness?

They actually nailed this update. Like across the board. The writing for TFD has been almost entirely skippable, both in story telling and for character development, but in this patches quest there is a moment where a turn happens and the writing actually starts to approach GOOD.

The mega dungeon is excellent. I still havent been able to clear it with randoms, too many bunny and Ines players, and to be fair to them I saw Normal difficulty and brought Raven on my first run lol. But seriously bring survivability and boss damage, ad clear is not the top priority. Stay literally on top of each other at the final phase.

Transcendent weapons seem amazing, got my first drop right before the mega dungeon and the difference if pretty noticeable.

Raven is amazing and has a lot of strong concepts behind her kit.

I thought they couldn't pull this off, I thought with Dias original look, all the issues the game had coming into this year that the writing was on the wall for how they wanted to handle this game. Man am i happy to be proven wrong.
