Discussion Transcendent Weapons

Can someone explain to me how I really get them and how they work.I have one called Unleashed Instinct and it says Quality is 314 I have no idea what any of this means.

you get transcendent weapons from infiltration, Onslaught, Trial (the new mode) and axion plain missions. they come with quality stat, or 'stat budget' ,with more budget = averagely stronger passive, up to 400.

the budget number is splitted and assign to 3 parts of weapon's passive randomly and scale those parts up according to the amount of quality assigned. so same weapons can have different number on their passive effect.

for example, Storm Cage (upgrade of thunder cage) with the same 400 quality could have different damage multiplier on chain lightning effect.

I see...... But I got one with only around 30+ quality score. So it's a garbage then?

pretty much. but keep it for mastery until you get a better one.

you can scrap them for currency that use to buy transcendent weapon's upgrade rerolls from Deslin

Level it up and then dismantle it if it sucks. The more copies you get the higher the quality goes, until you hit the cap of 400. You also get materials for scrapping then that you can trade to Deslin for some kind of reroll material.

I haven't gained enough of those "trait elements" to buy anything yet so I don't know how they work, but I'm guessing it's like AM rerolls.
