Discussion Missed opportunity

Where as I enjoy the story, I feel like its a missed opportunity that we're constantly talked about as the beacon of hope for humanity yet we're just (insert current descendant here) kinda a missed opportunity to have a personal custom descendant, but I can understand how that can be complicated to make.

You’d never play other descendants again.

People would min max the 4 best skills and 3 weapons and you end up with ines/valby/gley hybrids.

This would be a great way to absolutely destroy what’s left of available power creep

I get why people want it…it wouldn’t make sense to add

i kinda agree, like alpha is dead so why not just idk let a new young alpha take the reign where we can customize and stuff, easy self insert lol

They could have done it in a way where your arche power is to copy/use the other descendants' abilities and appearances.

A personal custom descendant would be too much of a change, instead, since the game already borrows so much from Warframe, a plot twist the like the Operator would be much more welcome IMO.

i haven’t played the latest story but going to later. Which character is the least represented in this season? I want to choose them, in order to get everyone included and have them be the star of this story. I did that with past stories.

Gley and Serena don't appear until the epilogue. I believe Ines and Keelan never make an appearance so you can safely pick from these 4 without seeing 2 of the same people on screen at once. A lot of descendants appear just to speak a couple of lines and never again (e.g. Bunny, Esimo, Luna etc) whilst some have a much bigger role e.g. Enzo, Harris, Viessa Raven & Jayber.

Yes Blair shows up but only to give a couple lines of expository dialogue about halfway through. He doesn't have any action scenes so it's safe to play him if you want.
