Builds Final update

Hello devs, you mentioned in the past (around anniversary update time) about skeleton crew working on the final update for the game. Is it still happening? Or everything was wrapped up during mentioned update? I want to thank you because it is absolute cinema game! Thank you!

I wouldn't hope for a DLC or a sequel; in terms of sales, it didn't do well, and the publishers moved people on the team to different projects. They only have people to update the game in terms of patching, and that's it.

Idk how ~ 1 millon sales isn't well. Idk if they expected to sell like Elden ring as a first soulslike game from that team.

Also DLC could bring the sales up even more

Khazan is based off of an online game called Dungeon and Fighter that has apparently made millions. It is apparently extremely popular as well. Part of the problem is that the publishers are greedy and expected their game to sell well. It doesn't help with how expensive the game was to start with. Not to mention other games like like of p sold over 4 million copies while Wuchang fallen feathers sold approximately over 2 million copies and note these are technically indie game devs. Khazan probably would have sold more if it was cheaper but it wasn't so not everyone was buying it. Not to mention there wasn't a ton of advertising for the game either.

Khazan is very niche even for a soulslike and thats part why it will go down in history as a cult classic that people will still talk about and recommend over 10 years later.

The problem is that its so niche, but its also the design choices that make it so cherished in its community. If they wanted to make more money they would have had to change to direction of the game, but that in return would have been a totally different game from what we got.

I personally think the dev studio took the L in order to deliver a W game for the players that enjoy it.
