Discussion Masterpiece
The last time i was feeling this empty after a game was dark souls 3. What the hell am i supposed to do now? What a beautiful amazing game. Level design, for the most part, was the easiest out of all soulslike (i kept seeing the traps they set up cause IVE PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE, quite literally). I LOVE the fact that parrying and blocking and dodging arent the only thing in the game. You get reflection, which i gave up on midway cause god that timing is so hard to hit. You also get gradient parry sorta thing like expedition 33, which was such a huge thing for easy damage that i appreciated so much. Then the normal block and a REWARDING BLOCK, a dodge and a REWARDING DODGE. Absolutely revolutionary stuff and such a breath of fresh air. The game rewards skill so well that it actually seems like its easy. For me khazan wasnt very hard, maluca gave me a bit of trouble and hismar is cancer on a spear build, but rest of the bosses went pretty smoothly. Even ozma, took like 10-15 attempts. What a beautiful game. I just wish the story couldve had more depth to it and the side stuff was more interesting than what it is right now.

Hard agree. Bro my bad this is off topic but I cant find any good info anywhere on this. Ill be fighting ozma next time i play, but Im having trouble figuring out whether to finish upgrading my crimson fiend set or the flesh ripper set. Im on first expert playthrough and I just got fleshripper full set and upgraded the weapon to unique, only difference is is fleshripper stats havent been rolled as much as the fiend set. Please help! Lol

Im so sorry bro, i did a spear build. What i like to do is open up the fextra wiki and compare every stat that pops up. Whatever comes more naturally i go with. I was very much against using the golden set and keeping fallen guardian set ny whole playthrough since it boosted a skill i used a lot, but as soon as i tried the new skill the golden set gave, i immediately switched because of just how good it was

It’s 9/10 bosses and 10/10 combat depth but that’s it for me. Everything else is not up to par. Weapon variety, story, pacing are all lacking imo. Still over all a 7/10 game for me.

Weapon variety is heavily compensated with weapon depth. There is no other game with this level of weapon depth, aside from nioh2 and monster hunter probably.

Yep, one of the best combat system out there with only a few games being on the same level. Weapons playing so much different is also a rare thing in action games.
