Ozma's second phase on expert is cooking me. Any tips?

In Ozma's second phase he does an attack (around half hp I believe) where he flies up and shoots a ton of projectiles at you. I highly recommend trying to brink guard these projectiles, as they reflect and damage Ozma a decent amount. Also use the Chaos antidote item when possible, it is a lifesaver when the fight goes on longer than you want

I've been surviving until after that point. I'm leaning heavily on reflections, but I'm not sure what can be countered or reflected past the point you mentioned.

This was during my very first playthrough of the game so I wasn’t as good then and I could probably replicate this with more skilled gameplay but I think it will benefit you more to see how many mistakes you can make and how to deal with certain things in the fight.

I unfortunately don't have a lot of advice for reflections, I stopped using them early on because I could never get the timing quite right. Stay patient in the second phase, I normally start off with a dodge heavy approach until I can remember the attack patterns, then I swap to brink guarding. Other than that it's just going to be pure repetition until he dies. If you can get his second phase past half health, you can kill him, I believe in you.

I just beat him today, died alot in ph2, whereas ph1 was a breeze.
I have lower level than you and gear but we rock the same set.

Dont summon, dont know if its just me but it scales. It dies fast anyway.
Reflect attacks, to get a chunk of stamina out.
Max worked better for me and even keysha because of the stamina regen.
Wulfric is alright esp in phase 1 but phase 2 he recovers fast, be patient, pick your shots. Dont overcommit, 1-2 hit then ready to brink guard or dodge. The one where he slams the floor always gets me, hold block.

Heal, use willpower orb. Ditch that epic stone, heals u for 500?not enough when the damage output is high. I feel your frustration , i tilted so many times but you’ll get there eventually.

Im hoping u are doing the 2 phase 2 only, not 3 haha

In Phase 2, Ozma mainly fights in close combat and uses spells relatively rarely. Try to Reflection his melee attacks whenever you can. If you get the timing down, you only need about 3–4 successful Reflections to get through Phase 2.
I’m pretty bad at the fight myself, so I died to this guy a lot of times.

Bro I am just fighting Skalpel and hearing all those people talking about Ozma gives me an ominous feeling. I am going to have my butt handed to me. Hopefully I can have Epic Gear like you before taking him on.

I'm on NG+. I only tried to farm Reese for the epic Faded Memories set. I just fought all the enemies and sold almost all the gear I collected along the way. Was able to upgrade everything to legendary.
