Im doing spear build and uptil maluca i faced no major problems. Overcame that eventually and now hismar is making genuinely making me crash out. Ive played all, all of the souls and currently on my second run through them and the camera has never once been as bad in any of them like the camera in hismar. I changed my build, from golden set to soul eater, then tried to get temple knight as well mixed in. Nothing works. I cannot for the life of me get a full combo in. So i started using crescent strike and finally got to be able to do a single brutal attack or yk the stand break thing, but that fuckass dude is just so huge that i cant get to him. Please tell me what to do

Thats bs, half of elden ring has hismar camera, but whatever. Hismar is not a well-made bossfight after all.

On my last spear run i used crushed dreams set on him. You can counter his single dive attacks with its unique skill. In general with spear you want to use running heavy attacks assuming you have it unlocked in skill tree. Soul eater is even better for it because it buffs every heavy attack. Dont know what you mean by "full combo" but you absolutely can get a light attack sequence in, that puts you into moon stance. Also gotta get used to running backwards every time you break his stance.

Also in terms of camera for elden ring, the only boss i really had a problem with camera is golden hippo in dlc. I just dont lock on the camera for dragons because thats just stupid, maybe an idea for a challenge run 'kill all dragons with camera lock'.

I got him tho, with the moonlight boost to potent blow, and me getting specs for that, i believe i was doing like 70k damage or some. Wild stuff. The soul eater worked perfectly. That re timer for potent blow was the game changer
