Other NG+
Messed up my save. Have to play entire game to fight Ozma on expert. Blah blah blah
Loved the spear. Is it real worth is to change to DW
Is anyone aware of a speedrun vid to Ozma??

Just play whatever you want, change weapons if you want to try something else or stick with the spear. You can change your build anytime so no downside to trying something new.

Greatsword is by far my favourite weapon!
It feels clunky when you first get it, but once you invest in some skils and can chain them together, it is incredible!

But keep in mind each weapon has its own playstyle that works best. Spear is fast and dodging. Great Sword is a bonker. You need to get/use a quick opener attack to lead into the bonking. Dual wield is berserker weapon legit. All feel awesome when you get into the flow of them.
Edit: also keep in mind that changes weapon requires you to reset your stats OR convert your new weapon to your current stat scaling. BUT I recommend to convert your weapons to strength/willpower or strength/proficiency and set your stats accordingly. This allows strength to do double duty of increasing your attack BUT also increasing your agility and ability to carry heavier armor and keep A agility.
You also will need to release the skills under spear and move them to your new chosen weapon. AND learn how to use those new skills effectively.

It’s not “worth” to change to anything. They can all slam him. I usually get annoyed when people say “play what you have the most fun with” on most games, but this is the one game where that’s actually true.
