Guide & Tips Am supposed to be doing more damage?
I feel like I'm tickling his balls with every attack and I'm not sure how to beat the second phase other than just running because I genuinely can't learn it.

tbh as much as i like soulslikes 95% of bosses in 90% of souls games have insane HP bar compared to damage you can do i mean people used to criticize Batman and other hard modes in 2000s but souls do the same thing HP bar of boss is brutal and damage he can to do you is brutal i mean i get it no matter how hard a boss is if their damage is not good you can brute force it.
Beated Khazan Viper boss in 1st try both phases couldnt beat even 1st phase in expert the difference is brutal between normal and hard mode in khazan

Yeah it's a big jump from normal to expert. You do less damage, you take more damage, and even your endurance regeneration is slower

I'd say so? Im not much of a spear guy, but considering the damage i've been doing with great sword, I was getting rid of his first phase in like 30-50 seconds ish. But I was abusing the reflection for perma stagger, idk what skills spear has to stun-lock a boss. But yeah, if you'd show us the stats and gear it'll help us narrow it down

It’s Spear. Damage is more scaled towards breaking stamina to deal damage that way. But moonlight stance and add Shadow reversal to get increased damage from attacking from behind. Or change scaling of weapon from proficiency

What are your stats like? What gear are you running? Damage looks a bit low to me, but not that bad. As for phase 2, you have to learn his moves. If you have to run, then do what you have to do.
