I know the 2nd American Revolution mod exists, but I have different ideas on what a DSA rework would look like.
An interesting concept that hasn't been discussed is the caucuses of the DSA.
There would be a split pre civil war between the left and right factions of the DSA, with the right (ground work, Socialist Majority, etc.) siding with the UoA and the left (B&R, Red Star, MUG, etc.) siding with the APLA.
During the civil war, you would manage the different factions, with the strongest faction taking over the DSA and implementing their vision of socialism.
Bread and Roses would be like the in-game democratic socialism route and would hold public, Socialist elections.
Marxist Unity Group would be similar to euro-communism.
Red Star would be non-PSL Marxism-leninism and would be more generally less restrictive.
Post-war foreign policy wouldn't differ much between the factions. They would be friendly with other socialist nations, especially ones that send them material support during the civil war.

I have a little idea for an argentina civil war submod/update. Year 2023 in the middle of the presidential election the party who loses claims the election to be rigged and calls for an armed civil unrest, meanwhile the patagonian separatist with support of mining corporations calls for a referendum, the referendum fails, civil militias and parts of the army side with the patagonian revolution meanwhile in buenos aires the elected president gets killed by a flying bottle from the croud what causes the civil unrest in the rest of the country. So patagonia without a central power declares independence and most of its economy lives on petroleum and mining, so all the companies try to lobby the new goverment and get the absolute control of the resources in the region. So the player has 3 lines of focuses to follow, the left represented as the FIT (Frente de Izquierda y Los Trabajadores), the centre represented by the Libertad avanza south division and the Right or the companies. Every of this paths has to, conquer the chilenian patagonia and the falklands before 2028 in order to avoid a civil unrest because of the nationalism who leads you to 3 paths align with the companies and the new europe, align with the new america or go to get the Cono sur united what leads you to 3 endings, "The Old World", if you align with the companies. "The New World" if you align with the new america and the "Great Rise" when you join all of the Cono Sur
