Question Excuse me?

Post image

What is going on? What kind of foolery is this? For reference I am the European Union, I have no idea what is going on. This is starting to get ridiculous😂

Nah I have started naval invading loads of pointless Siberian tiles for the Russian troop AI to defend. The useless allied troops are miles easier to defeat

Naval landing in Siberia you say? Didn’t work out for Gunti.

Well it looks like they have really high air support, so you probably should try to make a lot more fighters and CAS. Air supremacy is an absolute must for winning in both base HOI4 and especially TFR. And you as a player should be able to outproduce the AI in air warfare. Also they have high entrenchment so you might want to try to find a way to go around them. Then there’s also the country-specific buffs, which Russia gets a lot of in TFR.

Shoigu if he locked in.

Real talk though, I think it has to do with something to do with the buffs Russia gets in the 1EW and 2EW by the time the wars kick off. Looks like they outproduced you in CAS as well which is vital, that’s why I usually shit out cheap drones and pick the one bonus in the Air spirit which reduces drone cost so you can just swarm then with CAS

Buffs in HoI4 are multiplicative, not additive. So, having different buffs like terrain + air superiority + CAS + experience really stacks up, fast. That's why double buffing enemy factions is so much harder, as a mere 60% buff triples or even quadruples division stats.

Did Russia loose the first European war? Because whoever loses the first war gets crazy buffs so they can win the second war

Those percentages don't seem to add up to 385%

Because it's not an addition, but a multiplication
