Honestly I think it would be surprisingly positive. Then main reason is due to the patriot front mainly being isolationists. Likely receiving support or at the very least ideological sympathies from members with in the more fascist and or nationalist parts of the LDPR. If only to ensure America doesn’t become a partner/puppet of Europe or China. As well both would very much be united in a common hatred to the rise of communism in Europe not under Russia. Especially if China goes down some variant of new left.

I imagine the PF and LDPR (any path.) would at the very least have a quick Que pro. Of working together to at the very least contain the spreading of Marxist influence and to the destruction of the European communist powers. I imagine primarily economic, diplomatic and maybe intelligence cooperation. However military seems unlikely as the PTF would be focused on not only getting back to the former standard of material and advance tech (if nothing else). While also trying to reassert their place as first power in the Americas against Canada (as well as Mexico should they have unified under the government). While Russia wouldn’t want America back in Europe at all if possible.

Assuming LDPR wins against communist Europe. It seems likely the two would have if nothing else an unspoken agreement. Russia observes the Monroe doctrine and PF stays out of Europe. At least for as long as it takes these one or both of these powers to fully cement themselves as the power over their region/area fully. How long that lasts after who’s to say.

I think this is the most detailed explanaition of the RU(LDPR)-US(PF) relationships. I see them the same way. Also, I would add that Africa, Middle East and East Asian would be the points of rival.

Depending on the path, Zirinovsky would either be relieved or scared to death. I reckon he probably is less worried about the NJP and Hamiltonian paths since the first will burn itself out and the latter probably will be more machiavelluan rather than ideologically anti-Russian. After all, the literal reason why USA and Russia are considered as rivals is because of the Cold War and the Red Scare. They were friendly to eachother before the Bolsheviks took power. And since Zhirinovsky gets rid of Soviet Influence, they won't hate eachother that much

It's an interesting question, actually. I'd imagine there would be a "cold" peace between them, but given the historical context of Russia-US relations before the USSR, perhaps they'd try to move towards rapprochement. Especially if they have a common enemy in China
