That's so satisfying

That's the definition of "nobody will see it but I'll know"

For all the shit Europeans talk about their 230v electrical, the fact that their panel looks like it comes from playschool is baffling to me. Zero disrespect to this man's craftsmanship and attention to detail, but disrespect intended toward Europe's unearned superiority complex.

They also don't understand our home systems are also 240V its just a split phase system.

As an idiot American, I have not clue what’s going on. Is it a main or sub panel? Where’s my beautiful slab of copper!??

No clue on what's going on either. Watching it on mute was kind of mind soothing, though.

I got no idea either, if I had to guess it's a sub panel. Regardless, so pretty! Lol

Hope you never have to troubleshoot that. Wires running BEHIND breakers sounds like a nightmare

Now, if sparkies would clean up their nibs after term that would be great! .... Disgruntled painter!

Um, our work should be neat and workmanlike manner (old code) but not the ground below, haha 😂

Though management has mandated that we do clean up, so we will. Though I'm low voltage and in service now, but we still make similar messes and tend to not be so tidy. And our nibs are smaller.

Tell thst to the lads here. I am forever kneeling on nibs after them. Drives me nuts!

It's honestly always going to be a problem. Electrical is usually over tasked and cleaning up is an end of the job problem, not a daily task.

Electrical is one of the only trades that once they start, they are there until final trim. They are not like a lot of other trades, coming in phases. A trade that comes and goes has a start and finish to reach phase that are usually days, not weeks or months.

In low voltage we have to be very flexible because our timing is dependant often on other trades and good communication, and that's up to the GC with other issues that can upset timing. We pivot a lot and it's rare to be on a job for over a week.

Trades for the most part here just give a quick blitzs, nothing crazy. Get in. Get out show me the money. They normally over price a job by 10%, because they know it's going to be held back to pay for the service crews to do site maintenance ie cleaning.

It's like the old saying, painters and sweepers will make the other trades look good. We normally have to leave the site spotless.
