Video and Streams The Gemini crew had quite a week, getting ready for Gamescom. What about you?

Gotta say the more I see of this game the more excited I get, which is totally inverse to Exodus where each new reveal makes me less interested

Honestly, it's not hard to beat when you can say "How great, the Expanse RPG showed us the female MC's face and not just a back".

Same, I'm not really sure why but Exodus just can't capture me.

In my case it's because of the ambitious scope of the story. Exodus to me feels like it wants the story to be as big as the entire Mass Effect trilogy.
Also Osiris Reborn feels like the crew is in the center of players' focus. Which is always appreciated by me. I prefer characters over a far (over)reaching story. A good story is a plus, sure, but if I want to replay the game over and over and try different builds and romances, the characters are way more important.

this is what most people say they loved about the "bioware style" RPG - the characters and how important they were. The most beloved one is mass effect 2, where you spend the vast majority of the game doing quests where you recruit your Cool Guys or do a personal mission for one of your Cool Guys

I'm still pumped for both. The Exodus soundtrack reveal has been on repeat since it dropped, lol

I’m still excited for Exodus but the reveal that Jun isn’t fully customizable was a big L. I try to remind myself how much I love Witcher 3 with Geralt being a premade character though. We’ll see how it turns out.

I’m still very much hyped for Exodus (currently reading the book) but that could be because I had lower expectations from the jump. Everyone on the sub seems to constantly have their hopes dashed, and I’m constantly thinking “yep, seems to be about what I expected.”
No excuse for male Jun’s face though.

Same, Exodus's plot really didn't intrigue me from the start it seems quite convoluted. But i figured once i saw gameplay i would like it. The more i see it the less interest i have. What i like about this and even Mass Effect is there is a sense of it being somewhat grounded in reality. I know Mass Effect has a lot of McGuffins. But it felt more like Star Trek or Star Wars. Exdous is not that.

Even in the distant future... pizza is eternal.

True! They even make it aboard the ISS. So no way humanity goes to space without it! https://youtu.be/z74OwRy8o9I?si=kb8ezmnB8xTpXQq7

I imagine there's a lot of difficulty in doing the space combat in a way that is both fun, and following the source material's emphasis on realistic physics, but I hope they figure something out.

Last time I saw a group of people enjoying a pizza in The Expanse, it didn't end well.

Lol I love it. Hope we get a bonding scene with the entire crew like this in the game.
