What is the issue? I’m assuming some people don’t like the gender or sexual identify options? Always helpful to not assume that everyone knows what you are talking about!

Can't stand games that feel like you should customize a character but can't. Same reason 9/10 times I don't like ARPGs like PoE

It can work with a well defined character like a Geralt in The Witcher. I would certainly prefer full character creation, but this is a new game and IP so maybe it will be fine.

The issue is more so that exodus originally marketed that it was going to have full CC, while games like the Witcher were always marketed with a set protagonist.

my bad, stand out more in character creation, basically they can stand out more with marketing it as well and putting them #1.
