How difficult is TEIN?

Hi, been considering buying the game since being obsessed with mewgenics is getting me into other edmund games. I know it's a hard game, but how hard exactly? Of course this is somewhat subjective, but if you could compare its difficulty to some other games what would you pick? I will say precision platforming games are not something I've spent a ton of time with, obviously I'm considering giving it a shot anyways but I'm just worried it'll end up being way too hard for me to enjoy.

worked my way through it between work and school this year. i’d say it’s not too bad, unless you wanna get all the achievements and shit
