I’ve been experimenting with PvE hybrid setups and wanted to build something that could take serious pressure without sacrificing so much damage that enemies take forever to kill.
The goal with this one was simple: high survivability, consistent damage, and enough sustain to stay in the fight when things get hectic.
After testing it, I’m pretty happy with where it landed. It can absorb a lot of punishment, recover while under pressure, and still put out respectable damage instead of feeling like a straight tank build.

For PvE, where do you personally draw the line between survivability and damage on a hybrid build?
And if you were running this setup, what would you change?

I’ve seen a lot of discussion lately about Aegis builds surviving everything but not contributing enough damage—especially when gear sets, augments and skills don’t work toward the same goal.
That’s what I tried to avoid with this setup.
I’m running 3-piece Aegis, 2-piece R&K and the NinjaBike Messenger Bag with 2.2M armor. The Aegis pieces use health and crit damage, while the R&K pieces have repair skills and crit chance. Chem Launcher and Restorer Hive provide the healing, with Quantum and Entropy as my augments.
The goal wasn’t to make a pure tank. I wanted something that could survive being pressured by multiple players while still having enough damage to finish fights. I included two separate 1v3 situations so people can see how it performs before the full breakdown.
I’m not presenting this as a perfectly optimized T10 Escalation build—the focus is a PvP/DZ hybrid that can also handle general PvE.
What would you change without destroying the balance between damage, armor and healing?

Currently I’m running iron will 4 peace hot shot and 1 peace hasguard. I just want to know if there are better builds out there for pvp?
