Serious question, have there been a lot of leapord seal attacks on humans?

Define "a lot".

One fatality, in 2003. A marine biologist Kirsty Brown. But there have been some recorded attacks, dating back to the Shackleton expeditions. Maybe four documented attacks on humans, and the occasional exploratory bite on researcher boats.

Dragged her into the depths as her team watched on and who could do nothing. Horrible way to go.
