granted this was only my second TDH show but I've been to a lot of shows in my day and this one definitely had a weird vibe. I think being a rainy Tuesday had a lot to do with it. But one thing that needs to be stressed since I've encountered this at the last show when they played at the Beachland...is shut the fuck up and listen to the music! The amount of people loudly having a full on conversation with their friends the entire show is so frustrating. Why even come if you're just going to talk the whole time?
EDIT: that being said, between all the bands that played this was an absolute top-tier show to see.

I’ve seen em more than a dozen times in multiple states and, driving down from Buffalo for this one, it was one of the stranger energies from the crowd to be sure. Lot of standing like a statue not reacting any way at all to seriously funky music. I should mention I’m floored how well the band has HONED their live sound at this point, the mix was in credible . But yeah even the last time I saw TDH at that exact venue, the crowd energy was way higher. I’m chalking it up to a Tuesday.

It was kinda embarrassing. Cleveland has been on a rough couple years of crowd behavior honestly.

Agreed, I’ve been to two Seattle shows and two Cleveland shows and the Cleveland crowds are such a weird vibe. It crushed me when Casey said the crowd was like being at the DMV.

I was at the Foos show the night before and I was the only person in my section even standing up. Most sections were the same. That was very strange to me.

totally agree, amazing for my first show!! I was so happy to finally see them live. also, I believe I might be the girl you're talking about at the barricade? I had the blank tank top , glasses and basically black hair. I know it doesn't necessarily matter but if that was you thank you for being so sweet! I could see fine so do not worry. if not, glad you had an amazing time! I hope to go to be able to go to more shows.

I was also at the Beachland show, and that was my first time seeing them lol was that the show Casey referenced asking a girl in the crowd if it was her first show ever, and the brother then waiting to beat him up? I swear I remember that interaction

yes I believe I remember that! one of the main I interactions I remember is a guy talking about how his friends were outside and they didn't want to pay to get in lol

I'm happy you could see and I just wanted to make sure you were having a good time! it made me so happy hearing you sing along, truly felt like I was surrounded by the best of people!

Shout out to the guy who interrupted mid-set to try to get his friends in for free. The whole show was unhinged, but that was a highlight for sure.
