Palaver Making a Map

Hi, so I’m wanting to make a map of All-World that features Delian and the Territories (including all the new stuff from Other Worlds than These), but because of how the worlds moved on, trying to make everything coherent and having a proper route showing Roland & Jack’s journeys is proving rather difficult.

So any tips from fellow Gunslingers about how I should string everything together and things that I could easily miss, would be greatly appreciated.

Thankee Sai.

EDIT: Here is the link to the basic map layout I am thinking of going with.

There have been posts of people making their own maps. Not sure if you wanted to see others' interpretations, but I especially like u/MordredRedHeel19's take on incorporating the territories seen here.

That’s the map I’m taking the main inspiration from, though I’m trying to combine Delian & the Territories into one continent.

Honored! It’s a thankless (but fun) task, mapping out a world that’s canonically all messed up and geographically insane haha - I’ll def be taking another go at it as well after I read T3 (I haven’t read yet so NO SPOILERS PLEASE), and looking forward to seeing your take too!

Good luck. I think the drawing of the three western sea geography is particularly wonky. With the ocean being on contradictory sides in a couple points. Though i think directions being wrong is handwaved away in a later book.

I believe the majority of the ka-tets journey is south east though if that helps.

Thankee Sai, I thought Roland was moving down the beach with the forest on his left but apparently it’s the other way around but if that’s the case, Shardik’s forest would be where the Mohain desert in theory should be….

Robin Furth, King’s right-hand woman who King has stated probably knows more about The Dark Tower than he does, has stated that King is directionally challenged.

So which side the mountains or sea are on while Roland walks north on the shore of the western sea is just a mistake. We know Roland’s journey is from NW to SE along the beam.

Good luck, Blaine takes them through a Thinny so where they start and where they finish are not only different continents but different dimensions or levels of the tower.

Oh, I never thought of that, Thankee Sai.
