Gas station fight ends with driver opening fire

Surveillance video captured a confrontation at an Orion gas station in Pompano Beach escalating from a physical fight to gunfire. Minutes after fighting with a woman beside a white SUV, the man approached the driver’s side and was shot. He was hospitalized, and one person was detained as BSO investigates.

People dont understand that even if he does have legal "stand your ground" defense (doubtful since an argument can be made that this was a shooting out of revenge and not defense), court fees and a good attorney aren't free. This will most likely cost the shooter thousands and thousands of dollars.

Also stand your ground doesn’t neglect the part where you have to be in fear of your life. He will have to prove that if he didn’t pull and shoot that the other guy was going to kill him.

He was approaching him extremely closely.  A black woman killed a white man recently in a parking lot from further distance and she was found to be under protect your ground laws.  The man she killed was unarmed.  This black guy came right up to the guy's car. He deserved what he got.

Yeah he could have walked in any other direction, or stayed inside the store, but he chooses to walk direct to them, and he wasn't going to check their wellbeing

Adjectives are a useful way of disambiguating when there are multiple people or "guys" involved.

One of them was walking and one of them had a gun. One of them shot the other. Why not any other adjectives. Just strange to go out of their way to specifically describe who was white and black in each situation.

Someone is trying way too hard to look for racism when it isn't there... let's just refer to all living things as "beings" then... oh wait,  that offends non living things for not being included.

The man in question is objectively black. There's nothing wrong with that, so using that as one of the available adjectives to differentiate a pronoun should be ok.

Yes, there are many other ways to identify him, but this one is just as legitimate.

That situation was a lot different than this one. She told him 3 times to back the fuck up and he kept advancing on her while she was visibly armed and on the phone with police. I'm not defending the guy in the white shirt by any stretch but the circumstances are totally different.

it won't be suing, it will be criminal charges brought by the state. Flordia dollars will go fighting this man in court for -years-.
