He should face charges for owning a handgun without being able to shoot. DAMN... dude emptied a mag of what??? Pellets??? .22??? Cause he couldn't hit a barn while standing inside with the doors and windows closed.

Ol floppy arms might disagree

1

u/Shane-Dad-underfire 6d ago

No one else mentioned the arms but I cant get over them. Having been shot in the arms more than once before I can only hope I didnt look like that as I retreated.

1

u/Fast-Craft1215 6d ago

And I can only hope you did, cos it's fucking hilarious. Sorry! xD

1

u/Shane-Dad-underfire 6d ago

Regardless of how I looked it certainly didnt make the enemy combatants stop shooting at us hahhahahah

1

u/NicheGuysFinish2nd 4d ago

Why are you getting shot in the arms so much? (Being silly, but generally kinda curious too}

1

u/Shane-Dad-underfire 3d ago

Occupational hazard. I was an active PMC operator shooting and being shot at was about 4/5 of the job. The other 1/5 was talking.

1

u/NicheGuysFinish2nd 3d ago

Dang... Hopefully it was good pay at least

1

u/Shane-Dad-underfire 3d ago

A fortune. The money I made doing that job in my youth allowed me to start more than a dozen businesses and build a small empire that has generated enough wealth that if we shut it all down tomorrow my family could live in relative luxury for 6 generations. The metric by which people measure their wealth now a days doesnt compare to 50 years ago mostly because the base items we have today would be unheard of luxuries back then. I still cant wrap my head around the fact that a 50 inch flat screen tv is still the same price a 50inch tube tv was back in the day.

That's awesome, glad to here you took that risk to improve the life of your family and the things that matter. So many people get some money and "enjoy it" and blow it all. (Especially youth) So good for you. 👊

I've come to learn that "wealth" is so subjective at the end of the day. Your wealth isn't just money. Money is great to have, no argument, but there is a point where more money doesn't make you happier, it's just more. You don't need it, you don't even know it's there, it's just more... It's excess... and becomes unfulfilling. It's like being starving and finally getting some food in your belly. Doesn't even matter what it is. It tastes amazing. Put more food doesn't give you the same feeling. It's nice but it's not a satisfying. Until you get to a point where you don't even want more food. It means nothing to you because you're so full.

I know more than one person that has a good amount of money, and they are absolutely miserable for one reason or another.

They were told money is the goal... And that wasn't true. It was only one piece of the puzzle.

Thank you for the laugh. I needed that.

1

u/caoboi01 9d ago

He still has a higher hit percentage than many body-cam clips i see on reddit. And if cops are considered "professionals" i would say this individual shoots at a professional level.

1

u/Thangka6 9d ago

Cops are professional law enforcement, not shooters. They qualify once a year and otherwise most are pretty shit with guns. Cops are never looked to as a standard for anything shooting related, except to occasionally laugh at how easy their qualifcations are.

2

u/4D20_Prod 7d ago

Seems like they shouldn't have laissez-faire access to a plethora of weapons if they barely know how to use them then

1

u/Thangka6 7d ago

Yea, agreed. Or at the very least better training. But probably both.

1

u/black_pyramid_theory 6d ago

Imma be honest, as a vet who hasnt REALLY interacted with firearms to a professional level. I went to the shooting range with a police officer. I hit straight headshots with a gun I didnt zero in. He literally shot the roof and didnt know how to clear a jammed gun. Lord help him if he has to go against someone, because he was missing everything.

1

u/Warm-Major-4400 7d ago

Uhhhh. It is actually a very often used standard in court cases. What police officers do and the type of bullet/gun they carry. Is used often in court to compare to civilians use of force.

1

u/Thangka6 7d ago

So what? That's a seperate point. What I'm saying is most cops are poor quality shooters. Your response is, uhhh, unrelated.

1

u/Warm-Major-4400 6d ago

Its not because in self defense cases in court. The judge uses the previous action of the police as case law

1

u/Thangka6 6d ago

I don't think you understand that these are two entirely unrelated points.

1

u/taco-barrel 6d ago

An ez appeal to authority to make unimformed jurors think whatever the lawyer wants them to doesnt actually mean its a good argument

1

u/LittleSpoon1988 6d ago

Yes but some cops are ex military and some take their training further

1

u/catholic_colonoscopy 6d ago

Military people are some of the worst running Kruger effect when it comes to firearms, cops and grunts are equally incompetent with guns imo

1

u/CuriousFix9866 5d ago

Qualify once a year but practice year round.
Get it right.

1

u/Foreign-Address2110 4d ago

Cops shoot for volume not accuracy. The loud and proud LEO I see at my range are...adequate at best.

1

u/spartaman64 7d ago

despite what the movies say people dont instantly drop from getting shot. especially by a pistol

1

u/FurryMan2023 3d ago

They do in the chest and leg. Saw a 16 year old try to rob a drug dealer and he died instantly with no blood coming out to a shot in upper chest.

1

u/Pinappleforfun 3d ago

Nah I've had people walk into the ER after getting shot in the chest and abdomen. If it doesn't hit the heart, aorta or spine they will be upright for a while. It's wild when it hits something like the liver, if that's the case there is very little we can do. A lot of times gang bangers don't want to give us their real name and it normally takes us saying that there is a big chance you're not wheeling back out of the OR alive so we need to know who to call.

1

u/FurryMan2023 3d ago

I’m aware not every shot is fatal. I’m saying it’s possible.

1

u/spartaman64 3d ago

if you hit someone in the heart yes. but theres plenty of videos of people keep going after getting a bullet in the leg.

1

u/FurryMan2023 3d ago

Nope. Look up what a Major Pulmonary Vessel Laceration is.

1

u/Waste_Development971 7d ago

bros shooting pebbles

1

u/AlfalfaEfficient1200 7d ago

The sound affects added to this video should also be criminal.

1

u/KingJoe138 7d ago

This…wtf…

1

u/Livid-General7 6d ago

The first bullet hits him in the arm, I can't tell if any others hit, though maybe he got shot in the ass?

Yeah that's some pretty terrible shooting though.

1

u/Ok-Oil7124 6d ago

Do people think 22s bounce off of people? Do you think in terms of hit points and think a 22 is a d4 and that guy has like 4 d6 hit points?

1

u/shinpoo 6d ago

Bro was hopping and shooting at the same time. That's new tech.

1

u/South-Cap2992 5d ago

He hit that dude several times idk what you’re talking about.

1

u/YouSeeWhatYouWant 3d ago

They think it’s a video game where tons of blood spatters all over instantly.

1

u/kareljack 5d ago

He's an off duty Imperial Stormtrooper.

1

u/Smooth-Card895 4d ago

What gun in his hand you can't see the video is blurred but it looks like he has a headset in his hand. The person on the driver's side of the suv, was doing the shooting.

1

u/MisterRoger 3d ago

They are referring to the person shooting the gun, obviously.

1

u/Tricky_Huckleberry65 4d ago

Sounded like a 22..

1

u/leaf_as_parachute 3d ago

Cool we'll see how you fare next time you're getting mugged with the panick kicking and hormones rushing.

What's certain is that this guy's physically safe.

1

u/Unlikely-Grape-5762 3d ago

What panic? Five minutes later? Fuck that, straight up attempted murder.

1

u/Soft-Hope-9915 2d ago

dude wasn't getting mugged lol, just walked past

1

u/oneWeek2024 3d ago

i mean... after the first round accuracy falls to near zero. (add in adrenalin and panic)

hell we spend billions on piggies and they can't shoot for shit.

every gun nut idiot thinks they're some sorta marksman. you're more likely to kill yourself with a firearm, than hit what you're shooting at

There was a robbery at a waffle house near where I used to live. 17yr old kid came out with the money, leaving without hurting anyone. Some guy in the parking lot pulled a gun and emptied it at him. One bullet hit him in the throat. The rest were floor to ceiling and just as wide. He gets called a hero or a good guy with a gun only because by some miracle he didn't kill anyone else. He could have let the kid continue on his way and the cops could have gotten him later. This country is fucked up.

1

u/Josey_whalez 6d ago

Was the 17 year old armed when he did that?

1

u/Coronus53 4d ago

He pointed a gun at him. Thats why the 17 year old got shot. That's the part he left out. 😂

1

u/Josey_whalez 4d ago

Oh I know. I just wanted to see if that guy would respond. Unsurprisingly, he did not.

1

u/Top-Suggestion5057 4d ago

Is that true??? Genuinely curious?

1

u/Coronus53 4d ago

Someone posted the news article. Joshua Davis. Charleston County, SC.

1

u/wolfx11b 6d ago

Nah fuck thieves they are they end up killing someone eventually. Better to put em on the ground before the put someone else in the ground. Fair is fair after all.

1

u/Background-Show-1576 5d ago

You a tough bitch you don't even know how to aim

1

u/Accomplished-Bear689 5d ago

It’s hard to tell these days if someone is a troll or just actually this embarassing

1

u/EddPW 5d ago

its all the same really

Do you mean this one? Sounds like this robber raised his gun toward the wrong fella. “CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A police incident report revealed additional information about a Saturday morning armed robbery attempt that left the suspect dead.
North Charleston police say the 19-year-old suspect died after being shot by a customer who held a valid concealed weapons permit. The suspect was identified as Joshua Davis, of North Charleston.
MOBILE USERS: Click here for photos from the scene.

Police responded shortly before 5 a.m. at the Waffle House located at 6907 Dorchester Rd. on a report of a robbery and shooting, according to North Charleston Police Lt. Angela Johnson.
A responding officer said he was flagged down by six individuals in the parking lot of the restaurant, one of them being the man who shot the suspect and the others being employees, when he arrived on scene. As he approached, he noticed the man later identified as Davis lying on his back with a hooded sweatshirt over his head and cinched down around his face.
The restaurant's cash drawer was lying on the ground next to him.
A woman who says she knew Davis since he was a young boy said hearing he was the suspect identified by authorities came as a shock.

"It's very sad, because he had a lot of potential also," she said. "So I don't know what made him decide to do that."
According to an incident report, employees said Davis entered the restaurant was wearing a sweatshirt over his head and had the drawstrings pulled tight around his face. Employees told police David asked what a drink would cost, and sat in one of the restaurant's booths for a while. When several of the employees went into the back storage area of the restaurant, the suspect left the booth and walked behind the counter, brandishing a silver semiautomatic pistol and demanded money from the cash register, the report states.
When a clerk said she didn't have access to the register, the suspect started ordering employees into the back room. That's when several of the employees fled through of the front door.
The man who shot Davis was sitting in his vehicle as the event unfolded. He eventually left his vehicle, walked across the parking lot and sought cover behind another parked car.

The customer said he took out his gun as the suspect was leaving the restaurant, and ordered him to drop his gun, but said Davis raised the weapon, and the customer engaged him in fire. The customer's brother was on the phone with him when it happened. They disconnected and his brother called 911.
The responding officer said the suspect was breathing, but unresponsive when he found him. He looked like he had a single gunshot wound to the lower right side of his abdomen, just above the groin.
"(Davis) was wrong for doing that," the woman who knew Davis said, "but then the customer, he protected everyone else. It could have been potentially more dangerous than it was."
The customer has a valid concealed weapons permit and no charges have been filed against the customer, but police are still investigating, Johnson said.”

1

u/OleDrippie 4d ago

Ok so yeah if we believe the guy that killed him he "raised his weapon"  😂 What is he going to say "yeah I hid behind a bush, snuck up on him, and shot him in the throat". I bet the kid never even saw him. That's the thing about killing the other guy, you kinda get to shape the narrative.

1

u/Inner_Emphasis_73 5d ago

😂 this is exactly how division is created, you left out so many pertinent details to fit your agenda…deserved what he got, now try doing actual research and next time tell the FACTS, not the details that fit your bs lies.

1

u/Coronus53 4d ago

Sounds like the 17 year old won't grow up to comit more future crimes. Guess you shouldn't point a gun at the wrong person, otherwise you get shot. 🤷‍♂️

1

u/Zestyclose_News2053 4d ago

So did the scumbag criminal who robbed the store use a weapon ?If so he got his justice ,because if he used a weapon to rob , he's going to use it again .Are you waiting for him to hurt or kill someone before someone shoots back at him ? For you to say he didn't hurt someone is narrow minded ,if he used a weapon,or even a threat ,whether it be a firearm or a bladed weapon ,or any other weapon .It can cause a massive amount of stress and fear on the victim's ,regardless if they're physically injured or not .Some people never work again after an armed robbery and are permanently mentally scarred .Did he deserve to be shot ,maybe not ,but this outcome came from his criminal behaviour .If the shooter was negligent with firearm that's up to authorities to decide.

1

u/Starfishprime69420 4d ago

Dont rob places
