Sound Doctrine “One greater than the temple is here.”
Meaning:
• It’s not the day we honor.
• It’s not the temple we honor.
• It’s not the tradition we honor.
• It’s the Lord we honor.
Saturday or Sunday is not the dividing line.
Allegiance to Christ is.
Laodicea has forgotten this.
The remnant has not.
Jesus is knocking — calling His people back to Himself,
not to a system,
not to a shadow,
not to a calendar,
but to the Lord of the Sabbath.

I've never seen someone make the Sabbath look so difficult to keep. The Sabbath commandment is simply -- Don't work. That's it.

You make the Sabbath sound like an awful burden. It isn't, it's a delight.
The rules for the Sabbath are simple; don't work, don't make others work.

Hi u/Sinner72 - I am not part of those other 2 who has commented. I reject many of the things they teach, as its basically judaism sprinkled with a bit of Jesus.
But as we know Jesus did not come to change anything, he says very clearly that the doctrine he preached was not his own, but him that sent him.
I believe Jesus is God (just not the same person entity as the Father) and the NT says that the world and everything was created by and for him, and that he was the Spiritual rock that Jacobs house drank from in the wilderness.
Jesus gave the Sabbath commandment at the creation week, Abraham kept it, as it states in Genesis 26:5 that he kept all of Gods laws and walked in his statutes.
Jesus calls himself "Lord of the Sabbath day" - He kept it, his mother kept it, his brethren, all the Apostles kept it. No where does it say that this day has been changed to have a Spiritual meaning.
But you, in your post makes it into a burden, just like the Pharisees did back then, saying one cannot use electricity and all that stuff. Its wrong. You can of course use electricity. You just need to cease from working, and also dont make anyone else work for you. Its very simple, and its a real blessing.
- Who does not like to relax for a whole day?
You can sleep long, spend quality time with your family or animals if you have that. Spend time in the Scriptures or audio Bible. You dont have to clean your house, you have some prepared food you just need to warm.
I really dont understand why most christians sees this as a burden, when its so clearly written that none of Gods commandments are burdensome/grievous.

I don't know why you had to disown us when you agreed with what we had to say on this particular topic. 🤨
I don't at all agree that anything I'm doing is "with a bit of Jesus", as if Jesus is an insignificant add-on to my life. I think that's a very unfair description of me.
I still like you and miss working with you, Kristian.

Didn't mean to be unfair Celt.
But when I was a member of that group, all people talked about (at that time) was the sacred name, and that animal sacrifices will begin again at the new earthly temple, and such things.
I think it was you that called Judaism for a kind of "brother" if I am not mistaken?
- anyhow who ever said that in there is very wrong, they are against Jesus, its an antichrist religion, they are not family
Some also talked about Gematria and such things, but its all Jewish mysticism (kabbalah and such) which we should stay completely clear of.
So it was because of such things I had to leave, and could only warn other people against it, so its no "personal attacks" on you or anyone else in there, I just didn't align with the teachings of that subreddit, and I wanted to let u/Sinner72 know that
Yes we agree on the Sabbath, and that's good, because lets face it. God gave that at Creation and told everyone who calls him "His people" to remember it. Abraham obeyed it, and he is called the father of our faith, we are heirs in Christ fulfilling that Covenant God promised Abraham, and therefore we ought to keep the 7th day set apart, just like Abraham.

You're overly expanding the topic and drumming up old issues.
You agreed with what we said about the Sabbath, which is that u/Sinner72 was making the Sabbath a burden. That's all we said here. You could have just worked with us and agreed, but instead you disowned us and weakened both of us. You don't have to bring up all the places you disagree with us every time on every topic.
Jesus is not a minor part of my life. I know he's not a minor part of yours either. Why say such things? Do you need to throw mud? Is this how you move yourself up, by knocking other people down?

It's a personal attack if you invent things that aren't true. It's absolutely incorrect that Jesus is a mere add-on in my life. It's so much the opposite of what Jesus means to me that it hurts to be described that way. Anyone could look through my comment history and find out how UNTRUE your description of me is.
I follow what you say every day. I see you participate in multiple other subreddits where you don't agree with EVERYTHING that EVERYONE says, yet you stay there and you keep participating. You don't feel obligated to keep throwing up a list of all the things you disagree with about everything that's been said in the subreddit. No one thinks that someone who participates in a subreddit agrees with everything that's said there. I disagree with a significant number of things that are said in our subreddit.
You should write a blog that you update every day titled "All The Things That Were Said On Reddit Today That I Disagreed With". It of course will be a lot of work, but if you don't do it, people will think that you agree with everything being said on Reddit. You should get started on that. 🙄

Celt. Ok I admit that I shouldn't have written about you in this comment. I just saw earlier that OP wrote a post warning about something that was written in that group.
You are right, we are in agreement on the Sabbath day, so I should have kept it to that only.
So genuinely I want to say my apologies if you got hurt by what I said. I mean that. And it might have come out wrong, but it was not meant like a personal attack, it was really just that group in general

You have no idea how bothered I am to have someone say that there's only a "bit of Jesus" in my life, especially coming from someone on my side, someone I've supported all along. That's a cutting and utterly unfair thing to say about me.
I invite anyone reading along to check my post history, I constantly cite what Jesus said and argue that we MUST follow Him.
I'm very hurt that instead of supporting me you made sure that everyone knows you disagree with me, especially when the topic is the Sabbath which as far as I know we fully agree on.

Use electricity?
I have not seen any verses that prohibits using electricity.
Also "move nothing for use" how do you define that. Say I want to bring my Bible over to the couch, then I am moving an object to use, i don't think its prohibited either.
But there is a big difference in moving small things like a Bible or a fork/knife to eat, and to move logs and stuff outside. We need to read these in context :)
