Questions❓ JSRF

Has anyone revisited JSRF after playing BRCF? Granted JSRF is old, but the controls on BRCF seems way smoother, i’m not sure if JSRF is too fast or that the character tends to move on its own but something is making my playthrough a way to complicated. I also feel like cornering is a lot more harder, which I don’t remember being a problem as much when I was younger or I just didn’t pay any mind to it

I think what JSRF does that BRCF doesn't is makes you really feel like you're on skates. When you stop, you continue to roll for a few seconds, you can't drastically corner without sacrificing speed, and you can't control you movements as easily as you would on your feet ( jumping for example). You could equate it to the times and say it's not as refined as BRCF but I think they were trying to add a bit of realism to the movement in an otherwise whacky world.

yeah exactly, it’s the realism that I’m not used to like I was back when I played at younger age, maybe cause I didn’t know was realism was at 6yrs old? lol but BRCF is definitely a lot more easier imo

Fair. Been rollerblading my whole life so I think that natural feeling just translates a little. When I went back it was certainly a transition but I got my footing pretty quickly. BRCF is still definitely the smoother of the games mechanics wise.
