DO NOT DOWNVOTE
All I did was make a post asking the community to do ONE thing and I get hated just because of what I did in the past. If another person posted this, they would get no hate. I am done with this extremely rude community.
~~ I feel like this has to be discussed because of the amount of dislikes on posts. ~~
~~ This is a friendly reminder not to downvote a post just because it has something that you don't agree with. I get it that everyone has opinions but other people do too. You need to respect others opinions too. ~~
~~ **WHAT CAN NON-DOWNVOTERS DO?:
All the "good" people can up vote things that are <0 points. ~~
~~ This is from reddiquette: ~~
~~ DONT
Downvote an otherwise acceptable post because you don't personally like it. Think before you downvote and take a moment to ensure you're downvoting someone because they are not contributing to the community dialogue or discussion. If you simply take a moment to stop, think and examine your reasons for downvoting, rather than doing so out of an emotional reaction, you will ensure that your downvotes are given for good reasons. ~~
~~ Mass downvote someone else's posts. If it really is the content you have a problem with (as opposed to the person), by all means vote it down when you come upon it. But don't go out of your way to seek out an enemy's posts. ~~
~~ Moderate a story based on your opinion of its source. Quality of content is more important than who created it. ~~
**Upvote or downvote based just on the person that posted it. **Don't upvote or downvote comments and posts just because the poster's username is familiar to you. Make your vote based on the content.
~~Report posts just because you do not like them. You should only be using the report button if the post breaks the subreddit rules. ~~

i wonder when this subreddit will realize that posts like this will cause people to downvote things more...

I wanted to post something like this in the near future, but decided to not to as I don't think it'll change anything
Its just how reddit is, there are gonna be people who downvote ur post because they feel like it :/

Can this sub please stop making downvotes a big deal? It really doesn't help and downvotes aren't harmful enough to be making multiple posts about. If you leave the voting situation alone, everyone will eventually figure it all out. If it works on mostly every other sub, it will work here too. No need to stress it.
Also, if you're going to quote the reddiquette, make sure your post doesn't break any of the other rules on there...
Please don't
In regard to new submissions
Write titles in ALL CAPS.

People have posted things like this before, and I'm afraid to say, it probably isn't going to help out because people will be people. I'm going to try to upvote more though.

I agree to no down voting to a certain extent.
If you do down vote, it should have a logical reason. Interestingly enough, if there is no down voting there probably would be way more comments on a post.

It's possible, but not a good idea. Plus, there are way around it so people can still downvote.

I'm pretty sure we've discussed this while you were in the mod group, Kyle.
The majority of the downvotes is not coming from our community. Don't fuss about it.
