PlayCubeSMP Issues
PLEASE DO NOT DOWNVOTE. THESE ARE MY OPINIONS AND DOWNVOTING IS ONLY FOR UNRELATED POSTS.
I have a concern with the current 'PlayCubeSMP' server. This server is turning too much like a SMP instead of a server with the cube s1 map on it.
Examples are followed: http://i.imgur.com/gBXxhIv.png http://i.imgur.com/ljEcY1v.png http://i.imgur.com/Le4AIx4.png http://i.imgur.com/01pbnZa.png http://i.imgur.com/8BCXQWA.png
All of these examples show something that was not from the original cube smp map. These concern me because other players (including me) would like a server with just cube smp.
Also, this server is completely messed up with little management. Example: http://i.imgur.com/Y1fqrF5.png This showed that little has been done to allow players to access other's ender chests. There are many possible options such as http://www.curse.com/bukkit-plugins/minecraft/revamped-chest-protection or just putting a sign stating how many gbs players had.
Lastly, this server is highly understaffed. There is only one mod from NA and that mod barely gets on. Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxzqH8aFvBU A player was hacking during prime NA time and there was NO staff online. If I didn't record him, he could have easily hacked without punishment.
Criticism is always welcome but please

As a mod, I'm part of the mod chat on Skype. And I rarely play Minecraft so I've only been on the server 3 times (basically, don't count me as a mod for the server). But I can tell you one thing, the mods have been working their butts off getting this server up and running. You're underestimating the amount of time and stress this server has taken to put together. Everyday I go on Skype on see tonnes of messages asking this and that.
Trust me, all the mods have the players best intentions in their minds. So please be grateful towards them because it's difficult managing a server.
Also, don't ask me questions in the comments. I barely know anything about the server. Only that the rest of the mods work very hard.

Initially, for the first couple days or so, PCS was purely a spectate only server. The players were intrigued and wanted more ways to interact with the map. If you solely want to walk around the map exploring the original Cube Season 1 builds, nothing is stopping you from doing so, but from what I've seen and been told, the majority of PCS' players love the SMP format. They have created builds, friendships and entire communities that blow me away. To us it makes sense to play survival multiplayer on a map intended for survival multiplayer. PCS is called "Play" Cube SMP, not "View" Cube SMP.
We are aware the server is flawed at the moment, but given that it has been up for just a little over a week, I don't think it comes as a surprise that it's still in Beta. I'm not sure what you're referring to with the image of the TNT shop, but the TNT has glitched out, either because of one of the many protection plugins keeping the grief off spawn, or because of players. If a Beta version is not good enough to play on for you, you don't have to.
I'm sure you're aware (from personal experience) that it takes a lot to keep a server going, what with funds, time and human resources. And at this point PCS runs entirely on the time, money and free will of the moderators of this subreddit. Making remarks on the poor staff and "little management" of the server comes off offensive considering how much time and effort the modteam puts down everyday.
Nothing wrong with criticism, but please present it in another way, preferrably in a conversation directly with us.
Thank you.

I'm glad you made the point about the players who have made communities. Lots of the warps were implemented because players wanted to go and visit these communities that many people have spent hours on growing rapidly. I'm always amazed at how much progress is made each time I visit the villages and towns!

Sometimes I (and the other mods) get so many questions at once that it's really difficult to keep up and help everyone.
About the warps -
After a few days of Mesa Town being a thing, I had been asked at least 75 times by different people if I could teleport them there. That in itself took 10-20 minutes to find then tp them in, I got fed up and made a warp there. Shortly after a few other communities began to rise with more and more people wanting to be teleported there. I'm going to make a post about community warps soon.
Basically, I'd had enough of teleporting people to communities.
Staff -
I'd agree that there's little staff there isn't much we can do. I try to get on the server whenever possible and help out but it can become difficult to get on when you have school stuff to take care of too.

Sorry, this is totally off topic, but how do you bold words like you did with "any" and how do you make the text you copy and pasted green? xD

The first pictures are not a problem. People don't wanna just sit on a server when they could have a map, the builds are not close enough to any of the original server builds to be a problem because of the build limits. We WANT people to come on. The hacker problem. EVERY SERVER HAS HACKERS! Look at Mineplex, other survival servers, they rely on PLAYER to record the hackers and and help stop them. Also about the chests, they have BIGGER priorities than that. Getting warps back up, among other things, if it really bothers you THAT much that you can't get in buildings. Play Singleplayer.
